Baazaar 2.0

Bazaar 2.0 was a portal for people to get introduced to the financial and stock market world without bearing the risks of it. It provides a platform to Buy, Sell, Trade mock stocks with mock cash. It not only provides insights but also hands-on experience to the financial world.
Every participant started off with the same amount of stocks, people started operating around aiming to maximize the profit based on the numerous circumstances influencing the stocks. There were 10 companies, 25 news flashes, 87 participants and one person to excel in the chaos of the market.
Bazaar 2.0 held at CLT-1 had an enthusiastic start with eager faces rushing in to get a peek at the model finance world that we created and learn more about how it functions. As the closing time for the registration desk started getting closer and closer, more people started to line up. The total number of registrations were 87 of which 17 were from outside PDPU. Participants came from all across the state i.e. Rajkot, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat etc. Also, students from colleges like IIT Gandhinagar, GNLU, DAIICT, AU etc. attended.
The prize money for the event was divided as Rs. 5000 for the winner, Rs. 3000 for the first runner-up and Rs. 2000 for the second runner-up. Even during the lunch break that was provided to the participants, their minds were still maneuvering on the strategies.
